Grigory Vasilyevich Aleksandrov (January 10 (23) , 1903 , Yekaterinburg , Russian Empire – December 16, 1983 , Moscow , USSR ) was a Soviet film director , screenwriter , and teacher . Hero of Socialist Labor (1973) , People's Artist of the USSR (1948), laureate of two Stalin Prizes of the 1st degree (1941, 1950), and recipient of three Orders of Lenin (1939, 1950, 1973).
